We are always looking for talented performers, designers, and volunteers to join our team. If you have a passion for the performing arts and want to be part of a dynamic and supportive community, we would love to hear from you. Contact us to see how you can get started.

Another way you can support SCP is to become a member! As a member of the Sylacauga Community Playhouse you will receive an annual membership card that grants you the benefits of discounted ticket prices for shows, classes, and SCP merchandise. You will also be invited to attend Business meetings, Annual Awards Banquets and other SCP events. Members over the age of eighteen will have the ability to vote on productions, decisions, or other Sylacauga Community Playhouse business. Memberships are $35 per person or $50 per family of two or more annually.

Donations as small as pennies and as large as thousands are valuable to the Sylacauga Community Playhouse. We are a nonprofit organization that operates on the support of our members and community. Please consider becoming a donor with the Playhouse. Our donors receive all the benefits of membership as well as special reserved seating for shows, T-Shirts, invitation to attend cast parties, and a listing in the show programs. Listed below are the different levels of donors.

Donor Levels           

• Supporter (any amount - $100.00)
• Promoter ($101 - $250)
• Actor’s Circle ($251 - $500)
• Designer’s Circle ($501-$1,000)
• Director’s Circle ($1,000-$2,000)
• Producer’s Circle ($2,000+)

Sponsor a show

An individual or business may choose to sponsor an entire show or join with another person or business and co-sponsor a show.

All donations are tax deductible. We will be more than happy to provide you with a letter for tax purposes. 

While we certainly need donor support to operate, we also welcome donations of any kind for our scholarship fund. Each year we support local student artists who are pursuing degrees in theatre arts. These scholarships are awarded in the summer to deserving students who have applied, gone through the interview process, and are selected as scholarship recipients. Want to support the future of theatre? Donate to our scholarship fund. Every penny goes toward their tuition.
